For the jar ?Veal? from the 5th month, Demeter veal from unique and strictly controlled biodynamic (Demeter) rearing is used. The calves are reared in a very species-appropriated way together with their mothers/wet nurses and are not separated from them. Less than 100 farmers use this calf-rearing method in Germany. An ideal complement to the other meat jars from Holle.
